By registering to post on for the Chat you attach a username to a specific IP this information is available to Admin and team. Your IP address is stored with each message you post to the chat and is available to the administrator and admin team. Therefore the rule is one username per person, violation of this is outlined in chat rules which are listed in the chat window. See chat Rules for this APP.

Protocol (IP) addresses are stored in the course of your using the chat and its
services for the purposes of:
Providing the service: we must store your IP address for a short time anytime you request a resource from the chat, in order to route our reply.
Statistical analysis: we may use IP addresses to make aggregate estimates
of engagement, e.g. counting unique visitors.
Access control: we are able to block and limit access based on IP,
individuals using the chat.
IP addresses are not shown publicly, your IP will never be shared with the public.
IP addresses do not generally translate directly to personally identifiable information. They can usually be used to geo-locate your device to the country or city level, based on information published by your ISP. the chat does not, however, collect your precise geographic location.
